Day four of New York Fashion Week ended with Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid dancing alongside Diane von Furstenberg at the designer’s Fall 2016 presentation. The day began at Victoria Beckham, where her entire family—including cute 4-year-old Harper—sat front row. In between those two monumental affairs, there was plenty to discuss, from Shayne Oliver’s jam-packed Hood By Air show to the layered, postapocalyptic looks in Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow’s Public School collection. Find out everything you need to know about day four’s news below.
Oh, Victoria
Victoria Beckham drew upon her personal style as an inspiration for her Fall 2016 collection. Filled with tweeds, stripes, and boneless bustiers, the offering will provide plenty for her fans to covet—and the show gave them plenty to talk about, too: Her family, David to Harper, sat front row.
Kendall, Gigi, and Karlie Agree
Diane von Furstenberg’s Fall 2016 presentation was the place to be. Stacked with supermodels—Kendall, Gigi, Karlie, Jourdan, Lily, Irina, et al—the affair was inspired by DVF’s disco days of the ’70s and offered up some slinky wrap dresses for day and evening.
The Roxy Meets The Revenant
This is how reviewer Maya Singer summed up Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow’s Fall 2016 Public School collection of duster coats and distressed denim.
Now Boarding Hood By Air-lines
Shayne Oliver called his Fall 2016 collection a “pilgrimage,” and it bore all the trappings of one, too: luggage (and furs) wrapped in that inconvenient Saran Wrap, layering on all one’s clothing to board a plane, and that one passenger who’s more keen to strut his stuff than listen to the pilot (Look 20). There were also Kangol toppers, available to shop now.
Boots, Cropped Flares, Turtlenecks
These were the key pieces of Derek Lam’s Fall 2016 collection. But beyond the essentials, women will love the coats—plush, oversize, and (in most cases) shearling-lined to combat the icy cold.
Prabal Gurung’s Slip Dresses and Shearlings
Prabal Gurung sent out a diverse Fall collection that touched on his signature red carpet fare and much more.
I Said, Brrr, It’s Cold Out Here

You’re Never Fully Dressed
It was all smiles backstage at NYFW, where Vogue.com photographer Kevin Tachman captured Heather Kemesky, Binx Walton, and more models beaming.
What’s Long, Lean, and Monochrome?
CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund cowinner Jonathan Simkhai’s sleek Fall 2016 collection. From optic white to caramel to jet black, Simkhai sent out posh looks with frayed seams featuring off-the-shoulder silhouettes and oversize furs.
