Ralph Lauren sent out his Fall 2016 lineup today at New York Fashion Week. As always, Lauren riffed on American motifs, adding drama via rock ’n’ roll–tinged suiting with ruffles and a series of glistening gold gowns. Here, seven highs from Lauren’s show while you wait for Chioma Nnadi’s review.
1. Sienna Miller and Tyson Beckford were seated front row.
2. The show opened with Karlie Kloss in rich shades of beige.
3. A series of Edwardian coats and high ruffle necks were paired with a perennial RL favorite, a thick leather belt similar to the styles Mr. Lauren himself wears.
4. Finale gowns came in rich jewel tones with hints of gold.
5. The liquid gold numbers that closed the show are sure to turn up on the red carpet.
6. Models wore their hair down in natural styles with neutral makeup for a clean, all-American look.

7. For his bow, Lauren wore a tweed blazer, vest, mid-wash jeans, and cowboy boots.
