Fashion Week has only just begun, but models are already showcasing their talents in the wealth of lookbooks and presentations that kick-start the season. First up? Trademark, Pookie Burch and Louisa Burch’s effortlessly cool label known for its polished, youthful take on wardrobe standards. The eclectic mood of the latest collection is perfectly captured by model Kriss Kulyk, a Ukrainian rising star whose delicate features and quirky beauty have landed her on the runway for Loewe, Christian Dior, and Alexander McQueen.
In the lookbook shots, Kulyk plays an idealized version of the Trademark woman: nonchalant, sophisticated, and capable of carrying off a tunic covered with pom-poms. For her part, Kulyk found the experience gratifying, especially given that the clothes corresponded with her own laid-back aesthetic. She even has a few direct-from-the-runway picks she can’t wait to get her hands on: “The first look they tried on me was a beautiful beige coat with denim jeans and sandals. It felt so natural and my style,” shares Kulyk. “Look 12 is something that I would love to wear every day! And of course the sweater with tomato print, I’m just obsessed with it!”
