1. Loewe might be a house famous for its leathers, but under the hand of Jonathan Anderson it’s likely to become as well known for its plastics too. With a collection filled with PVC bags and plastic-wrap trousers, Anderson’s collection looked to the future, but kept a link to the brand’s past using highbrow techniques.
2. Hear Anderson’s own take on his collection—as well as Charlotte Rampling’s—in our exclusive video.
3. Chalayan’s Cuban-inspired show is the only place you’ll find melting dresses this season.
4. Inside a delphinium hill, Raf Simons presented a collection for Dior centered on purity. From the cropped knits to the airy dresses, you can bet this vision of purity is about to become a popular one.
5. Rihanna wasn’t the only celebrity to appear front row. See them all in our comprehensive slideshow.
6. Guido Palau crafted ponytails at Dior, looping models’ hair around their ears and securing it in the same ribbon that doubled as a choker.
7. In a season of Issey Miyake–style pleats, the time seems ripe for the house to revisit its classic fabrication. Instead of rehashing the ideal, designer Yoshiyuki Miyamae transformed the micro-pleats into undulating, curvilinear dresses and separates. Talk about a twist on a classic.
8. It might not have happened at Paris Fashion Week proper, but Tom Ford’s Spring 2016 collection video starring Lady Gaga was the talk of the town. Watch it here.
9. Isabel Marant continued down an eclectic path for Spring 2016, showing embroidered robes and flowing poet blouses. But it wasn’t all far-off romance—the silver metallic trousers were pure cool.
10. The Rollings Stones made their first Fashion Week appearance—and not how you’d think. In Jun Takahashi’s pop mash-up at Undercover, Mick, Keith, Charlie, and Ronnie turned up on band jackets, backpacks, and skinny suiting.
11. Alexander Wang presented his final Balenciaga collection today. The all-white affair featured many of his muses, Zoë Kravitz to Anna Ewers, on the runway and closed out with the Notorious B.I.G.’s “Going Back to Cali.”
