While in Milan promoting her Mango campaign with Kate Moss yesterday, Cara Delevingne was mobbed by paparazzi—an act that has become something of a daily occurrence for the Brit actress and model. And while she admits it’s par for the course for her level of fame, she still took to Twitter to express her exasperation at being constantly hassled by photographers. “The paparazzi only get worse! I am not complaining but I just find it sad that I can’t live in my own city because for that reason,” she wrote, following up with a series of Tweets explaining her viewpoint.
Whether you commiserate with her or not, it’s pretty obvious that Delevingne doesn’t need the paparazzi. Any nip slip, funny face, dance move, profession of love, or whatever other newsworthy moment photographers are trying to capture her doing is already up on the actress’s own Instagram. She shares her inner thoughts and intimate pictures freely, rendering the cottage industry of photographers surrounding her somewhat pointless. Perhaps as a response to the frenzied paps who swarmed her and Moss earlier, Delevingne posted Instagrams of them in bed in their underwear today, as if to say, “Don’t you wish you got this shot?” We bet they do.
