Ladies and gentlemen, we give you Lady Gaga. The American Horror Story: Hotel star stunned on the Golden Globes red carpet this evening in a custom black velvet Atelier Versace dress with padded hips that gave her the ultimate Marilyn Monroe–esque hourglass figure.
Adding to the glamour of Gaga’s look was her decision to forgo a necklace, despite her gown’s décolletage-revealing off-the-shoulder cut. Instead, she chose stacked diamond bracelets and glamorous cocktail earrings—all the better to show off her bright blonde retro bob. Standing beside her was fiancé Taylor Kinney in a proper black tuxedo, and together the couple hearkened back to the heyday of Old Hollywood style. We’d call it a high note for red carpet style overall.
