Last night in New York, Annie Schulhof and the National Board of Review hosted the annual awards gala celebrating excellence in filmmaking, bringing out heavy hitters including Robert De Niro, joined by wife Grace Hightower, Benicio Del Toro, and Samuel L. Jackson. However, all eyes were on bright young things: Kristen Stewart, who stunned in an ecru organza Chanel frock; Brie Larson in a lively Giambattista Valli Haute Couture dress; and Emily Blunt in a sheer Elie Saab number. As host Willie Geist got the crowd enthused, guests—including Peter Sarsgaard and Maggie Gyllenhaal, Tessa Thompson, and Jessica Chastain—took in the elegant surroundings at Cipriani for a truly memorable evening.
